Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open Scurry and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the ⚙️ Settings gear at the top.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2: By email
Can’t open the app? Email scurry.hq@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Scurry account”. We’ll delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account, name and email address
- Your progress: streaks, XP, level, coins, badges and dare history
- Your friends list, invite code and friend dares
What may be kept
- Usage statistics and crash reports in Google Firebase. These aren’t linked to your name or email and expire under Firebase’s retention settings.
- Purchase records kept by Google Play, under Google’s own policies.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Scurry Pro subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
