This policy explains how the Scurry mobile app and website (“Scurry”, “we”, “us”), made by Azjyn, handle your information. If you have any questions, email scurry.hq@gmail.com.
1. What we collect

Photos stay on your phone. When you add a photo to a share card, the card is made on your device. We don’t upload your photos. Camera and photo access are only requested when you tap to use them.
Reminders are local. Daily reminders and streak warnings are scheduled on your phone. You can turn them off in Settings at any time.
2. What your friends can see
Only people you add with an invite code become friends. Friends can see your first name, level, current streak, whether you’ve done today’s dare, and your XP this week. They can’t see your email or your dare history.
3. Who processes your data
- Supabase: account sign-in and our database
- Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics): usage statistics and crash reports
- Google AdMob: rewarded ads in the free version
- Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in with Google
- Google Play (and a subscription service such as RevenueCat): Scurry Pro purchases
- Our email provider: sign-up codes and password reset emails
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, progress, friends and dare history are deleted from our database straight away. Usage statistics and crash reports kept by Google Firebase are not linked to your name or email and are removed according to Firebase’s retention settings.
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete account. Or see Delete your account.
- Change your name, email or password in Settings.
- Turn off reminders or vibrations in Settings.
- Access or correct your data: email scurry.hq@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the UK and EU, or the CCPA in California) you may have extra rights, including to object to processing or to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children
Scurry is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, email scurry.hq@gmail.com and we’ll delete it.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Scores, streaks and rewards are handled by server functions with access rules, so other users can’t read your private data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect yours.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
